The primary purpose of the Supply Chain Intern is to support, maintain, and enhance daily processes related to merchandising operations while acquiring applicable knowledge for future endeavors. Interns will assist in troubleshooting issues related to replenishment, vendor management, and item integrity, as well as support new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in enhancing the supplier portal application using user feedback
• Support and maintain DAX/IM replenishment software
• Help align vendor supply chains with Loves operations
• Assist with the implementation of merchandising applications
• Manage vendor information and contracts
• Work towards achieving 100% collaboration with suppliers
• Take responsibility for system upgrades and regular maintenance
• Build positive relationships with vendor/supplier personnel
• Identify opportunities for process improvements
• Keep management apprised of any issues or concerns
• Understand current processes and apply improvement practices
• Troubleshoot assigned store work orders
• Gain a fundamental understanding of EDI terminology and processes

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Business-Related Major or have equivalent work experience (5 years)

Skills & Physical Demands:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods, with some bending and stooping
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity for operating a computer keyboard and calculator
• Normal range of hearing and vision
