Summary
The Federal Reserve Board (Board) provides students opportunities for career success. The Board's Internship program is designed to provide valuable work experience for undergraduate and graduate students considering careers including, but not limited to, economics, finance and accounting, information systems, and data analysis. The Board believes that by combining academic endeavors with project-related work experience, qualified and capable college students can gain the practical knowledge need in a competitive global job market. Internships are paid positions with salaries commensurate with credit hours; internships may be in-person, remote or hybrid, depending on the needs of the team. Employment in the Board's internship program is granted to U.S. citizens. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and returning to continue studies after the internship. Interns receive a syllabus or research project plan outlining their projects and goals for the internship. Interns are assigned a supervisor or mentor to guide them through their internship, and regular check-in meetings with their manager to manage performance expectations and assist with learning goals. Interns have access to a wide range of training programs and events for professional development purposes.

About the Team
As part of the Board's Supervision & Regulation Division's Large Institution Supervision Coordinating Committee (LISCC) section, the intern would assist the Office of the Operating Committee (OOC). The LISCC Supervisory Program coordinates the Federal Reserve's supervision of large financial institutions that pose the greatest risk to U.S. financial stability. The OOC provides infrastructure for and oversight of the operational and strategic functions of the LISCC Program as well as operational direction and guidance to promote LISCC Program effectiveness, efficiency, quality, consistency, and compliance with Board and Federal Reserve standards. The OOC is composed of functional areas covering communications (Comm), human resources (HR), technology and reporting (T&R), operations (Ops), quality control (QC), and corporate secretariat (CS).

About the Role
The candidate will work closely with the OOC T&R team. The OOC is seeking an intern to:
- Assist with the development and updating of dashboards, analysis and reporting key for providing information to various leaders and stakeholders of the LISCC Supervisory Program.
- Learn the various data systems and sources used to provide supervisory information, as well as develop a high-level of knowledge of the large bank supervision and examination processes.
- Support aspects of the LISCC Supervisory Program's SharePoint site, including access.
- Collaborate with a myriad of individuals across the Board S&R Division and across the Reserve Banks that also support their Supervision & Regulation leadership department reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Developing collaborative relationships
- Enhancing strategic and critical thinking and judgement
- Enhancing organizational and project management skills and
- Learning more about the Federal Reserve's supervision and regulation responsibilities.
Required Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate will be eager, a self-starter and have the following attributes:
- Sound analytical, synthesization, and organizational skills
- Sound knowledge of Excel and Tableau
- General knowledge of programming languages and SharePoint a plus.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, simultaneous projects
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to seek assistance from different individuals
- US Citizenship is required. Applicants must be current students, graduating from their program Fall 2026 or later.
- This internship must be completed in-person in Washington, DC.
