SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) Manager

This role is a management position responsible for overseeing the SUE practice in an assigned office, managing multiple projects, and ensuring the accurate identification and mapping of underground utilities for infrastructure projects. The manager will lead field crews, client relationships, and project timelines to reduce risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee SUE projects from start to finish, balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team Leadership: Manage and direct SUE field crews and processors.
• Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Technical Oversight: Ensure work adheres to Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) standards, including use of advanced locating technologies.

Required Skills and Experience

• BS degree + 6 years of related experience, or AS degree + 8 years, or HS/GED + 10 years (or equivalent).
• Experience with SUE practices and procedures in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22.
• Valid Driver’s License required; pass Motor Vehicle Records review.

Compensation

Base pay range: $145,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year.
