Salary: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and analysis of solar racking structures, including ground mounts and carports.
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for structural projects, ensuring compliance with materials, environmental conditions, and design requirements.
Conduct stability assessments to guarantee structures can endure factors such as wind, seismic activity, and snow loads.
Collaborate with a team of engineers and drafters to develop, evaluate, and enhance safe and efficient structural designs.
Manage on-site testing related to soil capacity and participate in the inspection of existing structures to assess their condition or recommend necessary improvements.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
Actively pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD.
Basic familiarity with structural analysis software such as RISA 3D, STAAD Pro, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Practical experience in solar structural design.
Advanced skills in model-based engineering software.
Previous entry-level work experience or internships in structural engineering settings.
