The selected candidate will support funded projects involving radar processing and the application of estimation and detection theory to novel problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  Apply Expertise: Apply estimation, detection, tracking, and classification expertise to develop solutions to urgent and important problems in the radar systems domain

  n

  Develop Algorithms: Develop new estimation-theoretic algorithms and implement them in software (MATLAB®, Python)

  n

• n

  Enhance Code: Enhance and extend existing code bases to process data from new sensor systems

  n
n
• n

  Brief Customers: Prepare and present briefings to current and prospective customers

  n
n
• n

  Travel: Work with a flexible schedule and be willing to travel to accommodate customer priorities

Qualifications:

Required:

• n

  Clearance: Active TOP SECRET security clearance

  n
n
• n

  Education: Master's degree and at least five years' experience, or PhD degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics

• n

  Experience: Programming experience in MATLAB® & Python

  n
n
• n

  Work Style: Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• n

  Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills

  n

  Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

  Radar Experience: Understanding of and experience with radar systems and processing
