Google Public Sector's Sovereign Mission Solutions team is a group of engineers dedicated to helping organizations leverage the power of Google Cloud technologies. We build products that provide automation, repeatable patterns, and intelligent insights through advanced data analytics and Generative AI. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying solutions that address the unique needs of our public sector clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop prototypes and build front-ends and back-ends for greenfield projects.
• Work with Google Public Sector (GPS) Sovereign Engineering and Google Distribute Cloud Engineering to survey existing pain points, and propose solutions and improvements.
• Participate in and lead architecture and engineering designs with peers and stakeholders, and exercise technical judgment (e.g., deciding between available technologies).
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Articulate technical concepts and analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences, including engineers and executives.
