Staff accountant II responsibilities include supporting the accounting department with more complex month-end close procedures. A successful staff accountant II will accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts
• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Perform more complex and detailed reconciliations of data from multiple information systems
• Support financial and tax audits by compiling data requests
• Support accounting management in implementing processes and procedures
• Respond to information requests from management and team members
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Required Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Required Experience + Education:

• 2+ years of experience in public or private accounting preferred
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite and/or Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annual base salary

Work Schedule:

Orangetheory Fitness, an affiliate of Purpose Brands LLC, currently observe the following hybrid work model for employees at our Boca Raton (FL), Woodbury (MN), and Seattle (WA) offices:

• Remote optional: Wednesdays and Fridays
• On-site days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
