Sr Software Engineer

Our client, a leader in aerospace and engineering technology, is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Software Engineer, you will be part of the Hardware/Software Engineering department supporting software and systems integration teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and leadership experience, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Software Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ (100% onsite) Pay Range: $65/hr

What's the Job?

• Translate system-level requirements into test requirement documents.
• Design, develop, and implement test solutions, including Rack Stack ATE, adapters, and cable sets.
• Develop code based on schematics using C, C++, Python, LabView, and LabWindows/CVI.
• Lead software teams through project execution and system life cycle phases.
• Support certification processes (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254).

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of related experience, including 2+ years leading software teams.
• Proficiency with C, C++, Python, LabWindows/CVI.
• Strong foundation in system life cycle, technical documentation, and software requirements.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship).
