Sr Engineering Technician

Our client, a leader in industrial services, is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Sr Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting technical operations and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Engineering Technician

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Range: $38 - $40/hr

What's the Job?

• Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to enhance efficiency and establish standard production rates for maintenance, production, clerical, and other operational tasks.

• Apply your technical expertise to perform complex tasks related to pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing, hydraulic testing, and valve testing.

• Utilize your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

• Lead and direct the work of team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Report to managers or department heads, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 4-6 years of relevant experience in the field.

• Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures related to pneumatic, hydrostatic, and hydraulic testing.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to rely on experience and judgment to accomplish objectives.

• Ability to perform a variety of complex tasks with creativity and independence.

• US citizenship is required for this role.
