Sr Electrical Engineer - Exempt

Must Have

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in FPGA design and development

• Familiarity with AMD / Xilinx FPGA
• Experience implementing video subsystems in FPGA design
• Proficiency in Vivado Design Suite

• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate FPGA blocks for electronic equipment or other hardware systems.
• Determine design approaches and parameters.
• Simulate and verify FPGA designs to ensure proper functionality.
• Support implementation of FPGA designs including synthesis, timing, placement, routing, and power analysis.
• Analyze design to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
• Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
• Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.

• Strong preference for individuals familiar with AMD/Xilinx Zynq FPGAs including Vivado toolset.
• Experience with simulation to support verification of applications, including Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and constrained random techniques.
• Familiarity with requirements driven safety critical government regulated industries such as medical or aerospace/defense.
• Experience with digital design implementation including synthesis, timing, placement, routing, and power analysis.
