Want to be part of this? We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr CDP Data Engineer to join our Tailored Technology team. This individual will be responsible for development and implementation of our Customer Data Platform, ensuring seamless integration with various data sources and enhancing data-driven decision-making capabilities across the organization. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
What you'll do
• Responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our Customer Data Platform (CDP) to ensure seamless data integration with Snowflake Data warehouse , processing, and analysis. Proficiency to gather and integrate necessary data from Snowflake into a Customer Data Platform (CDP), enabling a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and trends to drive personalized marketing strategies and enhance overall customer engagement.
• Development Initiatives: Manage the design, creation, and implementation of CDP, integrating with Snowflake ensuring the data is accurate, complete, and secure.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration of the CDP with various data sources ingested within Snowflake, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools. Develop and maintain Snowflake ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) data pipeline processes to integrate data sources / attributes not available within the CDP;
- Create and maintain source-to-target mappings and data lineage; Closely work with data analyst, data scientists, and business partners to build data solutions including writing complex query and query optimization which will support a variety of predictive and reporting applications.
- Data Architecture: Knowledge of scalable and efficient CDP data architectures to support the organization's data strategy.
- Performance Enhancement: Regularly monitor and optimize the performance of the CDP.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, analytics, and IT teams to comprehend data requirements and provide solutions that align with business objectives. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of the CDP architecture, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all customer data sources. Implement and provide support to data governance and compliance protocols, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the CDP to ensure optimal performance and resolve any issues promptly.
• 8+ years' experience with specific CDP platforms like High Touch, Simon Data, Segment or Similar CDP Platforms.
• Experience of Snowflake Data Warehouse for setting up Data Pipelines.
• Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Developer in a similar role within the retail or apparel industry.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau & Micro Strategy.
• Experience with API integrations and web services along with data cleansing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python
• Experience in SQL and writing sophisticated queries (Oracle, Snowflake etc.)
• Experience with cloud-based data storage like AWS & GCP.
• Good knowledge of production deployment, CI/CD orchestration and automation (Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins) and Git-Hub
• Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation tools like Salesforce.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Data Privacy and Security Standards like CCPA, CRPA & GDPR
• Strong understanding of database modeling and database technologies (SQL & NoSQL).
• Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics.
• Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The starting salary for this position is $106,800 - $123,000 and may increase to $175,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, hybrid from our Dublin, CA or Houston, TX office location.
