Sports Coordinator Position

We are looking to add a couple more individuals to our spring staff team. We are scheduling in person interviews today! Must be able to work Saturdays for each week of the season. Must have reliable transportation - we train, no certification necessary. High School Students / Starting Pay $14.00 Per Hour.

We are hiring for the following venue: Mason Early Childhood Center 4631 Hickory Woods Dr Mason, Oh 45040 Saturdays - 6 Week Season Approximate Hrs 8:00 - 4:00 pm - Final Times TBD 4/5/2025 4/12/2025 4/20/2025 Off Easter 4/26/2025 5/3/2025 5/10/2025 5/17/2025 last day unless we need to make up games. 5/24/2025 Off Memorial Day 5/31/2025 Weather Make Up Date If Needed

Job Summary:

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
