We're seeking a Casual SLP to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on an as-needed basis. This flexible role is perfect for professionals looking to maintain work-life balance while continuing to grow in their field.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver effective speech-language pathology treatments to clients who can benefit from these services.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and professional records.
• Coordinate evaluation, scheduling, and treatment programs.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service education, and community outreach.
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and UPMC's Code of Conduct.
• Ensure all professional credentials and competencies are current (e.g., license, CPR, CEUs, TB test).

What We're Looking For:

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
• CPR certification and other required credentials.

Education:

• Master's degree (MS, MEd, or MA) in Speech-Language Pathology.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Pennsylvania Speech Pathologist License.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility with active Clinical Fellowship year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (AHA standards).
• Act 34 Clearance.
• OAPSA Clearance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of normal human growth and development across the lifespan.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret medical records.
• Skilled in planning, organization, delegation, problem-solving, and stress management.
• Strategic thinking and logical reasoning across diverse challenges.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify referral growth opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with healthcare teams and leadership.
• Active participation in professional healthcare organizations preferred.
• Completion of all mandatory system, facility, and department-specific orientations and competencies.
• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to medication safety protocols (no contact with medications).
