Job Description
This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.
Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, manage territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, and focus on customer needs to maximize sales performance. Operate within AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, laws, and regulations.
- Deliver sales performance, meet or exceed KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create pre-call plans, evaluate post-call, handle objections, and close sales effectively.
- Build trusted customer relationships by proactively understanding and addressing their needs and challenges.
- Develop and execute call plans to optimize coverage and sales opportunities.
- Gather and share market intelligence to align strategies and anticipate environmental changes.
- Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition and develop disease state experts and advocates.
Driving a personal or company vehicle is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, business, or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of five years of industry experience, with at least three in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred.
- In-depth scientific and therapeutic knowledge, recognized as an expert resource.
- Strong sales acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to adapt to customer styles.
- Proven leadership and success in sales, with experience in pharmaceutical or related fields preferred.
- Must satisfy all healthcare industry credentialing requirements and hold a valid driver's license.
