Special Education Resource Teacher

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Resource Teacher for the 20252026 school year in Buckeye, AZ. This position supports a PreK8th grade campus and offers either a $55/hour local rate or a $2,300/week travel package for eligible candidates.

Position Overview

Location: Buckeye, AZ

Grade Levels: PreK8 (specific grade level discussed during interview)

Classroom Type: Resource

Modality: In-person

Schedule: MondayFriday, 40 hours/week

Start Date: September 29, 2025

Duration: 36 weeks

Interview Format: Virtual

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Implement IEPs and collaborate with general education staff
• Deliver specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Minimum one year of classroom experience
• Familiarity with Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement
• CPR certification, TB screening, and health clearance as applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
