You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs, including database maintenance
• Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic environment
• Experience applying modern software development methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps, in a professional or academic environment
• Experience with software or system development lifecycle areas and tools such as Angular, React, Java, or Junit
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy, including Git or Tanzu
• Experience with Jira and documentation tools such as Atlassian Confluence
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, System Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or Information Systems
• IAT Level II Certification such as CCNA, CySA+, CND, or Security+ Certification
• Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience working in a DoD and Agile Development environment that combines Lean, Scrum, and XP frameworks
• Experience using databases such as MySQL 8.0
• Experience with User Stories and updating Jira tickets
• Experience with Extreme Programming frameworks
• Experience with network infrastructure such as BigIP F5, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, and SFTP
• Knowledge of cloud architecture

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
