Job Description:

- This is an exciting opportunity to join Enterprise Payments Technology (EPT) and be part of a dynamic and fun team with amazing leadership. EPT is a global payments team which provides a wide range of financial platforms and services. EPT is made of core payment business technology functions including Merchant Solutions, Card Issuing, Digital Wallets, Transfers, Liability Payments and Settlement. EPT facilitates the movement of roughly $693 trillion through the processing of approximately 18.8 billion transactions a year to more than 66 million consumer/small business relationships and 2 million wealth management clients.
- Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions in the Payments Technology. Will actively work on and support application development and maintenance activities. Will participate in team discussions to understand and provide inputs to system requirements. Will drive application design activities, and develop software to meet specifications. Will work with QA and performance testing teams to ensure software meet tollgate requirements. Will work with support teams to deploy software and also resolve defects
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
- Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
- Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
- Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- 4+ years experience with Java, Spring, Oracle
- Strong understanding of SOA concepts, Web services and REST API
- Solid understanding on OOP concepts and must have working experience in Core Java/J2EE
- Working experience in Spring, Hibernate
- Working experience in build tools like Maven, Jenkins
- Excellent problem solving skills, willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges
- Experience in performing proof of concept for new technologies
- Good knowledge on Agile Methodology and the Scrum process.
