A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable our enterprise afloat networks to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network with the right equipment and sof tware requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a seasoned network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network our shipboard networks need.

As the lead network engineer for our team, you’ll use your experience in sof tware defined network architecture and design to support the nation’s defense and resp ond to evolving adversarial threats. You’ll work with other lead engineers for the design of the next-generation sof tware defined network for the nation's afloat platforms.

You Have:

10+ years of experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for DoD or government agencies

6+ years of experience with C4I Networks such as ADNS, CANES, SUBLAN, or STACC

3+ years of experience leading the design of sof tware defined networks for tactical networks

Knowledge of L2-L4 networking across protocols in multi-vendor environments

Knowledge of modern network architecture and best practices

Ability to produce high quality engineering deliverables such as network designs, engineering white papers, and MBSE artifacts

Ability to interface with government stakeholders, including functional lead engineers

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or Physical Science

Nice If You Have:

Experience with ADNS Sof tware Defined Networking

Experience with Navy initiatives such as RC3 or Overmatch

Possession of excellent customer facing skills

Industry Certification such as Cisco CCNP, ISC2 CISSP, Juniper JNCIP, or Cisco CCIE Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
