Site Planner

We are seeking a talented Site Planner proficient in AutoCAD, with additional skills in Revit and rendering capabilities using Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite being advantageous. Experience with Google Earth for aerial images is a plus but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience, though strong internships will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support the site planning team based in Chicago, engaging in projects from small out parcels to major mall re-developments.
• Create and update site plans and lease plans for proposed new developments, redevelopments, and expansions, including buildings, parking, roads, and landscaping.
• Produce conceptual renderings in Photoshop and SketchUp to convey design intentions for internal and potential leasing concepts.
• Update and maintain site plans to reflect changes in legal documents, such as surveys and property adjustments.
• Coordinate with leasing and development teams for property subdivision as needed.
• Work with the development team to approve planning concepts.
• Perform renderings, CAD work, master planning, site planning, site analysis, and conceptual designs.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or Architecture.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in planning, site design, or architecture.
• Knowledge of rendering, CAD, master planning, site planning, urban planning, site analysis, and conceptual design.

Work Environment

This role is office-based, requiring presence 5 days a week. You will be part of a collaborative site planning team consisting of approximately 7-8 people, within a larger development department of around 40 individuals. The work environment is supportive, fostering teamwork and innovation in a leading real estate firm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
