Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Our client, a leader in the plastic pellet industry, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the Warehouse operations supporting the Inventory Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Eagle Rock, VA

Pay Range: $16.50 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience

Shift: 1st shift working 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Identify and tag items to pack on customer orders.
• Pack items securely for shipment on UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL, and truck shipments.
• Use current business system to reprint packing slips and identification tags for spare parts orders.
• Receive and inspect commercial items ordered from suppliers.
• Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and to remove/replace items on inventory shelves.

What's Needed?

• Previous forklift experience.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus).
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift items up to 80 pounds.
