Are you looking for a company where you can grow? We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk to join the team in our Mechanicsburg Corrugated Packaging facility. We work in a team-based environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to learn all manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Ensure that all shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and in a timely fashion

• Completes necessary management reports as required
• Operates fork truck to remove units from banding line and load trucks for shipping units to customer. Keeps tally of what is shipped to customer

• High School Diploma
• Ability to perform work in a safe manner
• Must comply with all safety rules
• Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shifts
• Flexibility to work daily overtime, weekend work and/or various shifts as needed
• Must be able to lift, push or pull on a routine basis
• Walk, stand, bend and kneel throughout a shift
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
• Corrugated box manufacturing experience a plus
• A strong desire to advance within the facility

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be trained and licensed
• Read & use Factory Order, production schedule, and loading manifest to determine loading req
• Ability to:
• Use loading manifest to know what to load
• Perform daily inspection of fork truck
• Operate fork truck in a safe manner
• Properly load & unload trailers

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
