Shipping Associate

Staffmark is partnering with a well-established employer in Covington, GA, to hire a Shipping Associate for a direct hire role. Pay: $18-$22/hr (Based on Experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day Shift) As a Shipping Associate, you'll play a key role in warehouse operations, handling tasks such as:

• Receiving and unloading incoming shipments
• Inspecting deliveries for accuracy and quality
• Accurately recording received materials
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment
• Ensuring proper labeling and shipping documentation
• Coordinating with carriers for outgoing shipments
• Managing inventory by organizing stock and conducting regular cycle counts
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Operating pallet jacks and forklifts as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in shipping or warehouse operations
• Skilled in operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping procedures
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper handling procedures
