A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for aGeneral Laborer/Material Handler.
Position type:Full Time, Contract
Duration: 6 months to possible extension
Location:Savannah, GA, 31408
As a General Laborer/Material Handler, you will:
- Performs a variety of duties necessary to support operations within a team environment.
- Persons in this position promote a climate of cooperation; leading by example; mentoring others in quality, safety, environmental, Lean and HPWS philosophies.
- Demonstrate flexibility to perform other duties as requested.
- Duties are performed under limited supervision.
- Some computer skills necessary.
- Works from computer generated pictures, wiring diagrams, simple drawings or sketches, engineering drawings, specifications and other written or verbal instructions to perform job functions.
- May be required to perform additional duties/responsibilities.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1 year previous experience in manufacturing setting highly preferred. Comfortable with hand tools, cut saws.
- Will be tasked with a variety of jobs and work assignments/cross-training
- May be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 55 pounds.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*:$16.00 to $19.00/per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
