Service Technician

Service Technician- Elgin,IL

Responsibilities

• Provide phone support for incoming technical calls related to our Powerboss, Scrubmaster, and robot product lines.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems with field technicians.
• Administer warranty claims, including evaluation and modification.
• Communicate warranty questions on field units, including coverage and eligibility.
• Evaluate warranty parts when called in for inspection.
• Record and communicate negative trends, zero hour, or serial issues.
• Report quality issues to the Production Manager.
• Record data in SAP for zero hour and serial issues.
• Participate in bi-monthly meetings with production and sales teams.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers on known and potential mechanical concerns.
• Demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn and grow with our company.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with warranty administration and claim evaluation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with field technicians and internal teams.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar data recording systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
