Senior Technical Support Scientist

Our client, a leader in the healthcare diagnostics industry, is seeking a Technical Support Scientist IV to join their team. As a Technical Support Scientist IV, you will be part of the Scientific Support Department supporting diagnostic product development and validation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a passion for scientific innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Support Scientist IV

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Pay Range: $36/hr on w2

What's the Job?

• Provide technical support for diagnostic products and systems
• Design and execute experiments related to Clinical Chemistry instruments and oligonucleotide-based assays
• Perform testing, analyze data, and summarize results in technical reports
• Support validation efforts for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams to support product development and lifecycle management

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a related scientific or technical role; advanced degrees may offset experience requirements
• Hands-on experience with Chemistry analyzer testing and equipment
• Familiarity with oligonucleotide-based assays or technologies
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data interpretation skills
