Senior Structured Finance Associate

Job Overview
A prominent national law firm is seeking a highly qualified Senior Associate Attorney with 6+ years of experience to join its Structured Finance team. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience representing financial institutions in a variety of asset-backed securitizations and structured lending transactions. This position is best suited for professionals with a strong background in capital markets, private credit, or leveraged finance, and a demonstrated interest in complex securitization structures. Duties

Represent financial institutions (issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, purchasers) in structured finance transactions

Advise on asset-backed securitizations, warehouse lending, repo finance, and structured private credit facilities

Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documentation

Structure financing arrangements across various asset classes

Support transactions related to digital infrastructure and trade receivables

Collaborate with internal teams and clients on regulatory and transactional matters

Lead and mentor junior associates and support staff when required

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in structured finance or related capital markets transactions

Experience advising on securitization, private credit, or structured lending deals

Ability to manage complex financial transactions independently and as part of a team

Demonstrated experience with large law firms is strongly preferred

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

Active and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar (New York, Texas, or Florida preferred depending on location)

Skills

Strong working knowledge of asset-backed finance and structured lending

Proficiency in capital markets law and transactional documentation

Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills

Strong interpersonal and client management abilities

Capable of managing high-volume, high-value deals under tight deadlines

Team-oriented with strong mentoring capabilities
