This position is focused on the design of structures which support Water purification and treatment facilities, making water supplies more resilient and sustainable. This engineer will design a variety of structural systems, broaden their design experience, and collaborate with other disciplines, while delivering critical water infrastructure projects to the community. Key responsibilities include executing complex structural analysis, performing calculations, and preparing sketches and drawings for the design of water and wastewater treatment plants, industrial facilities, and other complex structural facilities. Supervises Structural Engineers and works with Structural Technicians in preparation of structural drawings and specifications. Is responsible for leading larger production teams and serving as the responsible charge for projects.

Preferred qualifications include a Master of Engineering or Master of Science from an ABET accredited Structural Engineering program. Familiarity with the latest editions of the International Building Code, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC Steel Construction Manual, ACI 530. Proficiency with use of structural analysis software such as RISA 3D, STAADPro, or SAP 2000. Proficiency with use of non-structural software packages such as Bluebeam, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 8 years related work experience.
