Responsibilities
- Lead project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives, with construction oversight and resolution of complex project-related challenges.
- Engage in business development activities and direct client relationships. Lead teams and multiple construction programs in an agency CM role.
- Apply proven project management techniques to analyze and develop reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, invoices, and assist with development and management of budgets, schedules, and project controls.
- Provide effective project management to help reduce project delivery costs and add value to the client. Maintain the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with the PM/CM team to deliver projects and programs that align with client goals, from design through construction and closeout.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Architecture, Engineering discipline, or Construction Management
- 20+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in the AEC industry
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with New York K-12 suburban school district building construction and renovation programs funded by bond referendum and capital budgets
- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, OSHA 30 Certification
- Strong people leadership skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Knowledge of MEP estimating, scheduling and cost control
- Thorough knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document control, forecast scheduling and costs, change order review, and payment review
- Proactive interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites; travel across multiple regions in New York state including Hudson Valley, Albany and Long Island
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Preferred qualifications
- K-12 experience is a plus
- RA, PE or CCM is a plus
- Participation in industry organizations is a plus
- Prior field experience

The base salary range for this position is $175,000.00 to $195,000.00. Within the range, pay is determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
