Job Overview:
Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Senior People Technology Partner! Reporting to the People Technology Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our core HR programs through innovative system improvements and exceptional customer service. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure our HR processes are streamlined and effective. Your insights and technical expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous enhancements to our HRIS systems.
This position is based in Warroad, MN. Highlights of Your Role:
- Clearly communicate HR system changes and their business impact.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships to align system functionality with business needs and enhance user experience.
- Consult with HR, IT, and vendors to troubleshoot system and reporting issues, providing effective recommendations.
- Lead support efforts for HR systems, ensuring timely troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Stay current on system updates and advocate for enhancements that improve business value.
- Recommend and spearhead system upgrades and new functionalities.
- Engage with external networks to integrate best practices into our processes.
- Coach team members on system usage and effective problem-solving techniques.
System Development & Configuration:
- Configure enterprise-wide HR systems to maximize efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits of data to ensure integrity and consistency.
- Develop and test system enhancements and scripts to optimize performance.
- Provide end-user support along with comprehensive training tools.
- Partner with vendors for strategic upgrades and ongoing system maintenance.
- Identify service trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance functionality.
- Generate and manage reports, ensuring robust security protocols are maintained.
- Support the integration of acquisitions and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Contribute to strategic planning and the vision for our HR technology.
Project Management:
- Oversee projects from conception to execution, tracking milestones, risks, and resource allocation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Mentor team members and serve as a technical resource within the department.
- Influence and guide People Technology objectives and operational strategies.
- Handle complex assignments independently and lead high-visibility projects.
- Apply advanced technical expertise to address unique HR system challenges.
You’re a Good Fit If You Have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in HR, specifically with HR Technology systems and applications.
- Experience with UKG Pro, UKG Workforce Management solutions, Business Intelligence, and Cognos reporting is preferred.
- A solid understanding of HR principles, programs, and practices.
- Strong comprehension of the role and function of Human Resources within an organization.
- Proficient consultative skills and the ability to transfer HRIS knowledge effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and persuade diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable terms for non-technical partners.
- Strong collaborative spirit within a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and adeptness at prioritizing various responsibilities.
