Job Summary
Job Summary: KBR is inviting applications for the position of mid-level Mission Partner Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to bolster the efforts of USSTRATCOM J7. This role involves a diverse range of tasks, from day-to-day operations to crisis management and Tier 1 exercises. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, editing, and publishing Strategic, Campaign, and Crisis Planning Assessments as necessary, as well as gathering and analyzing data from various sources such as intelligence reports, open-source information, after-action reports, and input from relevant components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor global responses to global strike operations to evaluate their effectiveness.
- Maintain awareness of ongoing operations and future planning initiatives
- Collaborate with contacts in the global strike community to gather essential information for assessments.
- Generate recommendations for future planning based on assessment findings.
- Present assessment findings to relevant stakeholders
- managing internal databases to track past, present, and future operations.
- Must be local to the Omaha NE area
- Travel Requirements: None
- Working Hours: Standard
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of related experience
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of global strike operations, including execution, planning, policy, and logistics
- Familiarity with Continuous global strike operations, including associated challenges
- Ability to analyze and anticipate current and future global strike operations.
- Knowledge of upcoming global strike capabilities
- Established contacts within the global strike community to facilitate information gathering for assessments
- Previous experience with global strike operations across different Areas of Responsibilities (i.e. experience in a JFACC or Air Force Global Strike Command)
- Preferred background in nuclear operations, mission planning, or air room operations
- Experience with multiple nuclear operation is advantageous
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required
