Senior Medical Imaging Technician

This position involves 36 hours per week, structured as three convenient 12-hour shifts. You will work primarily onsite at our Saugerties EmUrgentCare sites, with some reimbursable travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and care in an outpatient urgent care setting.
• Perform diagnostic x-ray exams by following established protocols.
• Record and log completed radiologic procedures accurately in our computer and scheduling systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and examination rooms at all times.
• Collect vital signs and a brief medical history from patients.
• Guide patients to examination rooms while ensuring efficient care setup.
• Restock medical supplies and provide support to both medical providers and front desk staff.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.

Experience Needed:

• Thorough understanding of x-ray procedures and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics for safe exam performance.
• Familiarity with radiology equipment and common safety hazards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment with excellent customer service skills.
