Sodexo Live! is seeking a Senior Manager, Premium Culinary Operations for an exclusive and ultra-premium club/lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).  Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. • be responsible for the culinary program within this premium/luxury lounge;
• actively work in-service supporting the culinary team in prep, production and menu execution; with emphasis on the first-class menu;
• creation, implementation and daily execution of all à la carte, buffet and noodle station menus (seasonal);
• work with procurement to complete costing and order guide creation;
• innovate moments of surprise and delight by adding featured culinary menu items for special occasions;
• write BOH schedules and ensure weekly performance to ensure budget compliance;
• interview, hire and train all BOH new hires;
• ensure Sodexo culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality/presentation are implemented;
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety, standard compliance; and
• have a working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

• senior culinary management experience, preferably in a Korean restaurant or high-end hospitality setting;
• strong background in Korean cuisine, including traditional and modern techniques;
• Korean language fluency;
• excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
• strong coaching and employee development skills; and/or
• have a passion for food and innovation.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 5 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in operations
