Job Summary: As a pivotal member of our team, you will plan and execute a variety of meetings and special events while implementing strategies that align with our departmental goals. Your focus will be on ensuring a flawless transition from sales to operations, guaranteeing maximum satisfaction for our clients.
Candidate Profile:
- High school diploma or GED; 3 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or a related professional area.
- OR a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major; with 2 years of experience in the same fields.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Research and analyze competition in products, pricing, and services to continually enhance our offerings.
- Build strong working relationships with vendors and establish beneficial pricing and service agreements.
- Manage departmental expenses to meet or exceed budgeted goals while identifying upsell opportunities during planning.
- Create an exceptional atmosphere and service experience in all event management operations.
- Engage with guests for feedback, addressing and resolving any issues promptly.
- Conduct regular staff training to uphold the highest standards of safety and service quality.
- Participate in departmental meetings and assist in corrective action plans as necessary.

Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary range of $72,000 to $96,000 annually, complemented by a bonus program and comprehensive health benefits. Other offerings include a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase options, accrued paid time off, and various wellness benefits.
