We are seeking a dedicated Senior Manager to enhance our Risk and Compliance Services practice, specifically within the National Security Advisory team. This team focuses on delivering robust risk advisory and compliance solutions grounded in risk management expertise.
Note: This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional travel or commuting to one of our offices or client sites.

Your Responsibilities:
Lead third-party monitoring and auditing of mitigation agreements related to national security. Experience in National Security Advisory is a plus but not mandatory.
Serve as a visible leader on engagements, shaping strategy and delivering impactful solutions while effectively managing team dynamics.
Establish excellence within Enterprise Governance & Cybersecurity Risk Assessments, Data Privacy, Internal Audit, and strategic projects.
Prioritize and manage budgets/timelines while providing guidance and development to team members during client engagements.
Build client trust and engage in relationship management and business development activities, identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals in response to RFPs.
Ensure that all scope of work aligns with U.S. Government National Security interests and requirements.
Analyze client strategies for mitigating national security risks and liaise with clients’ external counsel and U.S. Government agencies.
Conduct assessments of clients' national security posture, ensuring compliance with NSAs, SCAs, NIST frameworks, COSO, and other security standards.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of risk management frameworks including IT governance and compliance.
Develop NSA Compliance Policies, Communication & Access Plans, Security Compliance Programs, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM).
Willingness to work extended hours or travel periodically to different firm offices or client locations.
Basic Qualifications:
Over 10 years of national security experience with U.S. Government agencies, ideally involving CFIUS, Team Telecom, or DCSA.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Accounting/Finance, Statistics/Analytics, National Security, MIS, or IT/Cybersecurity, or a J.D.
More than 10 years of relevant experience in national security compliance, risk mitigation consulting, or information security within professional services or industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field, such as Business, Economics, or IT/Cybersecurity.
National security-related certifications.
Business development experience.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 10-25% of the time.
Strong background in governance, risk management, and internal controls.
Experience working complex CFIUS cases, especially those requiring data protection.
Familiarity with policies, procedures, controls, and supporting documentation.
Insights into Supply Chain Risk Management and strategies.
Experience with software-driven security solutions related to CFIUS agencies.
Ability to assess controls for safeguarding assets and data to ensure compliance with National Security Agreements.
Strong knowledge of risk mitigation frameworks like COSO, NIST, and ERM.
Understanding of advanced software-driven security technologies.

The expected salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $200,000, with variations based on geographical market differences. Actual compensation will be determined considering experience and relevant factors.
