Position Description:

Loyalty Platform Service team provides the Rewards program to Ford and Lincoln consumers. Rewards is a consumer facing applications that is launched in NA. You can join us in this exciting journey of building solutions that provide new capabilities in a global marketplace.

Delivery of APIs and Mobile Apps that allow our customers to move while staying connected to their vehicle by leveraging Java, Google Cloud Foundry, GitHub, Spring Boot, Azure, FireStore, Splunk and Dynatrace.

Work as part of a product team to lead the engineering, development and coding of complex solutions that enable critical Enterprise Connectivity Features.

Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to develop software architecture plans.

Leverage software craftsmanship principles and technology standards to solve problems with new and existing solutions.

Develop tools and processes to automate the delivery of new features/capabilities while eliminating waste.

Experiment with new and innovative software products to monitor and improve performance.

Skills Required:

Object oriented development and Java Enterprise concepts Experience with the following tools and technologies: Spring Platform (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud) Cloud Native Development on Google Cloud Platform Micro-services development - Development of Web Services REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML/SOA Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and technologies (Jenkins CI or similar) Builds on Google Cloud Platform (Gradle, GitHub) - Unit testing frameworks Working with distributed teams in a dynamic work environment

6+ years of experience with Java and Spring (any of the versions including but not limited to SpringMVC, JPA) Strong communication skills, verbal and written Motivated to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects
