Overview

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Java/Kafka Senior Developer (Onsite) with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective Analytics solutions and models that are deployed in Cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
• Examine business requirements and provide solutions. Interact with TPM, Tech Lead and should be able to lead the conversation.
• Build the application based on business requirement by following Industry coding standards along with writing unit testcases and meet or exceed coverage % defined by the project.
• Make sure the features built are successfully tested and deployed to production.
• Implement proper monitoring solutions that are recommended by the Client.
• Understand and document the design, service specifications that are built for the application. Guidance to developers in preparing functional/technical spec

Required Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience in Advanced Java, Spring, Spring boot, Spring JPA, any Cloud Platform (Azure is +).
• Strong Experience in Kafka or any Messaging Queue
• Hands on experience or Knowledge in designing Large Scale application/High Volume experience would be good

Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position will be between $68,000 to $114,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
