Senior Hardware Design & Validation Engineer

Our client, a leader in cutting-edge technology, is seeking a Senior Hardware Design & Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Hardware Design & Validation Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team supporting innovative projects in AI and mixed-signal chip technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for technology, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Hardware Design & Validation Engineer
Location: Austin, TX or Raleigh, NC
Duration: 18 Month Contract

Pay Range: Competitive

What's the Job?

• Design and implement RTL for complex digital IP blocks.
• Perform RTL quality checks including CDC and lint analysis.
• Support front-end synthesis and timing analysis.
• Set up and operate lab equipment for post-silicon validation.
• Develop automation scripts for lab testing and data collection.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–7+ years of experience in digital hardware design and/or post-silicon validation.
• Strong RTL design skills using SystemVerilog.
• Proficiency in Python and TCL scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and bench validation.
