We're representing a well-established commercial/institutional construction firm based in Northeast Ohio that's growing rapidly and investing heavily in its preconstruction capability. They're seeking a Senior Estimator/Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction efforts on major projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and institutional markets.

What You'll Do

• Lead full-scope estimating, cost modeling, and preconstruction strategy for complex bids
• Manage budgets, scopes, and value-engineering with architects, clients, and subcontractors
• Oversee buy-out, subcontractor selection, and estimation-to-execution transition
• Mentor and build the estimating team; improve processes and tools
• Drive alignment between design and construction to deliver accurate GMPs

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a senior estimator or precon lead in commercial/institutional construction
• Deep understanding of design-build, CM/GC, negotiated contracts
• Advanced skills in cost estimating, value engineering, and scope development
• Familiarity with software tools (Procore, Bluebeam, takeoff software, etc.)
• Strength in leadership, communication, and collaboration across teams
