In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas:

3. Technology Driven. You’ll be responsible for fostering a strong agile discipline and inspiring teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics. You’ll partner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions that solve material customer and business problems. You’ll govern the responsible and efficient application of technology resources by assessing opportunities for reusing existing solutions, clearly defining minimum viable products, and always building with extensibility in mind.

4. Integrated Problem Solving. Develop and champion a bold vision that drives meaningful outcomes by embracing the art of the possible. Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer.

5. Transformational Leadership. You’ll establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, and partner with leaders and stakeholders to regularly drive alignment, secure resources and overcome impediments. You’ll attract, grow, empower, and inspire top product talent as they develop and deliver on their local product strategy in an iterative, outcome-focused and well-managed way.

As the Product Leader for the External Data Sharing Team, you will:

1. Refine and execute on Capital One's long-term vision for external data sharing as a key business enabler, and champion it with our Senior Leadership.

2. Develop a product strategy to achieve that vision, prioritize investments and rally support from our lines of business, embracing innovative and scalable technologies.

3. Reimagine the customer experience for the suite of products used by our internal customers to facilitate access to external data and power business growth.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Engineering, Design, Data Science and others to improve our risk posture for data sharing given the increasing risks and requirements.

5. Coach and grow a high-performing team of Product and Program Managers who have a passion for data and technology innovation.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree

2. At least 8+ years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

2. MBA or Master’s degree

3. 8+ years of experience in Agile product management

4. 8+ years of experience developing and executing on long-term business strategy

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $264,300 - $301,700 for Sr. Dir, Product Management

New York, NY: $288,400 - $329,100 for Sr. Dir, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $240,300 - $274,300 for Sr. Dir, Product Management

San Francisco, CA: $288,400 - $329,100 for Sr. Dir, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
