Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and implement Building Automation Systems (BAS) for new construction projects, ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency.
• Perform complex system integration, ensuring seamless operation of various systems and technologies.
• Conduct thorough system testing and debugging to ensure the functionality of all automation systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in building automation technology, making recommendations for system enhancements as appropriate.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure automation systems align with project specifications and objectives.
• Manage system upgrades and modifications, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions or failures, implementing preventative measures to minimize future system issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of all system designs, modifications, and integrations for reference and auditing purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Demonstrated expertise in system design and integration, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
• Strong technical acumen, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support a team of technical professionals.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Proficiency in relevant software and programming languages.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in building automation technology.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant safety standards and protocols in the Construction industry.
