Overview

A leading Am Law firm seeks a Senior Associate for its Intellectual Property Litigation practice in San Francisco. The role involves leading high-stakes patent disputes across industries, managing client relationships, mentoring junior attorneys, and contributing to a top-tier IP litigation team.

Location: San Francisco, CA

Base pay range: $290,000.00/yr - $332,500.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement litigation strategies for patent disputes.
• Lead discovery efforts, including depositions and document production.
• Handle motion practice and trial preparation.
• Mentor junior associates and guide their professional growth.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with tailored legal solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of patent litigation experience.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Technical degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage client communications.
• Proven experience handling high-stakes litigation across industries.
