Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Partnership Accounting team. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to work independently, and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating complex Excel models, interpreting intricate calculations, and engaging with internal partners and stakeholders. A background in tax and automation technologies is a plus.

What You Will Do:

• Independently manage projects, including coordination with Legal, Finance, and Tech teams to ensure accurate setup and reporting.
• Build, maintain, and enhance complex Excel models to support reporting and decision-making.
• Quickly grasp and apply complex accounting and financial concepts.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to resolve issues and create value.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual partner calculations and tax-related schedules.
• Maintain organized documentation and audit trails for all accounting processes.

Skills/Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and financial modeling.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable interacting with partners and senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with partnership tax concepts is preferred.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, and Tableau) is highly desirable.

**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**

Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
