As a Security Shift Lead with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and professional interactions. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal training and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to occupants and visitors.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident response.
• Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as directed during emergency or incident situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
