As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of security, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

DayTime Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and/or issues as they arise.
• Assist visitors, staff, and students with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
