As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and monitoring assigned areas. What You\'ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control at entry and exit points, verifying identification as needed and monitoring for compliance with location policies.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related issues and support a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times, adapting to changing conditions and requirements within the retail distribution setting.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
