As a Security Professional specializing in Access Control at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your primary responsibilities include managing access points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to help foster a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will utilize your customer service skills to provide a welcoming and professional experience, while also using technology such as computers or tablets to document activities and support daily operations. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Thur 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Fri 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility as part of access control procedures.
• Provide customer service by communicating security-related policies and procedures to visitors, employees, and delivery personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and/or breaches of protocol.
• Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate logs of access control activities as required by site policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
