As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $18.71 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and general inquiries as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help promote a secure environment.
• Complete required reports and logs related to security-related incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
