As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading utilities location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Pay Rate: $15.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at utility locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and assist employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with computers or tablets is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
