As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both business areas and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain awareness of the environment and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Document incidents and observations accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to promote a secure environment in the tech, media, and telecom setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
