Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Federal Way, WA

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-min meal break)

Contract Length: 40 weeks (school year)

Days : Monday – Friday

Responsibilities (School-Based OT)

• Evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills impacting classroom performance.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support student needs.
• Document progress, update treatment plans, and attend IEP meetings.
• Educate school staff on strategies to support student independence and participation.
• Promote safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.

Requirements

Active Washington State OT license.

NBCOT certification required.

Minimum of 1 year of pediatric/school-based OT experience preferred.
